You do not need to register to access our items, nor are you required to pay. You will need a ZIP program to open the files you download from us, you can find help and information about this here.

For most internet browsers you'll be given the option to open or save the zip, we suggest saving the zip especially if you are new to using zip files or want to keep it for future use, make sure you pay attention to where you've saved the file to on your computer so you don't need to waste time downloading it again! Once downloaded you need to extract the contents from the zip file on your computer and follow the installation instructions provided.

If you are intending to use our Sims 2 Furniture or Houses which have custom objects included from Parsimonious or any other Sims website, you will need the CEP file from ModTheSims2 - this is the only required file that is not included in any of our downloads. 

It is NOT required for clothing, genetics, make-up, walls, floors or houses which do not have custom objects. You can find more information about the CEP here in our FAQ including support links and further information on how to download it.
