How do I add Regular Clothing & Heads to my Sims 1 game?

To install a regular skin (no expansion pack label):

Extract the contents of the ZIP - place ALL cmx skn and bmp files into this folder:

Please note that many of our Sims 1 Clothing and Head files do have filenames which are too long for the older Mac OS versions - you can fix this simply using the Skin Shrinker Utility - its free and easy to use.
