Kate answers:
If you are not sure
whether a community site is behaving in an appropriate way with
our downloads then please contact me as soon as you can by emailing
me with the following information:
-
The URL of the
site/group/forum
-
The URL of any
contact or guest book option
-
Any instructions
required to navigate the site or locate the items in question
if the site is not in either English, French or Norwegian.
-
If the site is
not in the above languages but is in a language you are
familiar with please let me know if you are willing to help me
by translating my correspondence with the site owner (I'll
only likely need half an hour at the most of your time!)
Please do bear in
mind there may be a chance that we have agreed a particular site
can have an exemption from our usual rules, so it is possible they
may not be doing anything wrong. For this reason we ask that such
matters be handled discretely - we would hate to see sites
who are complying with our wishes 'bashed' by the community simply because of a
misunderstanding or mistake! We ALL make mistakes
from time to time.
Actually
I think that Parsimonious may have done something
illegal? As
I say, mistakes do happen to everyone at one point
or another and with a lot of files and activity on
the site we do sometimes 'drop the ball' so if
you're concerned that we've published something we
shouldn't have then please
contact me ASAP with as much information as you
can about the problem and I'll do
everything I can to get it resolved as quickly as
possible.
