Can
I use your Object RECOLOURS where the mesh was
made by someone else in a House I want
to share?
Yes
- ALL of our object retextures can be used in
FREE Houses BUT if the mesh was made by
another website, you will need to check their
policies before including the base mesh. Every
item this applies to will have a credit link
by the individual item download: For example,
the object below has a credit link to Avalon
so if you wanted to use this Colour option of
ours you also need to check with Avalon before
including their pilow mesh with your house.
If
the original mesh was made by Maxis or by us
then you can use the recolour in PAY or FREE
houses (with credit): You can see which object
this applies to as it'll be listed as a Maxis
Object Colour option or the base object credit
link will be to Parsimonious.
What
about Clothes, Make-Up, Genetics & Meshes
if I want to include a family in a lot I am
sharing?
Our
Fashion meshes can be used for PAY and FREE
lots. Different artists have different
policies on the distribution of their clothing
with PAY complete Sims files and those
policies should be respected when the Sims are
being shared along with a house file - ALL
such items can be included with FREE houses.

What
about Sims 1 houses - can I include your Sims 1
walls, floors & furniture in a Sims 1
house I am publishing?
Yes
you can include our Furniture, Walls &
Floors with a house that uses them either in
the zip with the house or in a separate
'shopping list' zip of items that are used.
The terms below apply:-
| You give credit as a link back to
http://www.parsimonious.org
by the download if you include FURNITURE
with your house. It is NOT required that
you give credit if you are only
including walls & floors
CLONES of Off-site
Furniture can only be used in FREE
houses BUT you also need to credit the
original author of the base object we
cloned for their contribution. Where the
item is entirely the work of
Parsimonious (i.e. there is no base
object credit link) then those items can
be included with PAY houses
If
you use a commercial object which has a
custom NPC then you MUST include all the
required .skn .bmp and .cmx files the
NPC needs together with the object and
NPC .iff files PLUS you must also
provide a credit link to the creators of
any custom MESHES that are included with
the NPC and include any required read-me
files that come with our original NPC
object. Please make sure you provide
instructions on how to install objects
with custom NPC's - you are welcome to
link directly to our
Instructions if you do not wish to
provide your own.
