There is a selection of natural 'shiny' skin tones by Enayla
which we've used frequently in our previews, you can download these and
say a well deserved thank-you to Enayla
over at ModTheSims2
We
have a small selection of some of our own skin tones
available on the site, however if you're looking for
some new skins for your Sims then I recommend
checking out our Daily Finds as some fab new skin
tones as well as awesome default replacements do get
posted peridocially.
To
get you started I'd recommend checking out the
offerings from these sites to get you started:-
How
do I access the Alien, Zombie and Vampire Skin tones
in the game?
We're often asked about
the Maxis 'locked' skin tones - the Alien (The Sims 2), Zombie (University) and
Vampire (Nightlife) skins. These you can access yourself, when you're in the
neighbourhood view or in one of your houses, press CTRL + SHIFT + C to bring up
the cheat console and type in:-
boolProp
TestingCheatsEnabled true
Yes, the big 'scary' testing
cheat! Next time you go into CaS, press SHIFT + N and it'll unlock the Maxis
made 'bins' - which means you'll have access to a whole bunch of random NPC-gear
as well as unlocking those whacky game skins. No more traumatising your Sims
with abductions so they can have yukky looking Alien kids - create your own genetic
alien family that doesn't look like they've all been hit in the face with a frying pan...
To
turn the cheat off simply exit the game, or bring up the cheat console and type
in
boolProp
TestingCheatsEnabled false
