Fairytales are a sub-genre of folklore, often disguised morality tales, these stories usually feature fantastic creatures such as dragons, elves, goblins, trolls, fairies etc, as well as fair princesses, brave knights and princes. In modern times these are often regarded as children's stories but were more often entertainment for adults too.
