Here you can download sets of furniture for The Sims 1.

Please be aware that some objects, especially community lot objects that have custom NPCs, will also include skins parts (cmx, bmp and skn files), these should be installed into your gamedata/skins directory. Instructions are available in our Support Area.

As Sims 1 Expansions are as cheap as dirt these days we are not offering ANY additional support to players who do not have ALL the Sims expansions. We also cannot provide further support for Mac owners - no one here at Parsimonious has a Mac. For anyone who does have issues which are not addressed in our Support area, we recommend trying Google, or if that lets you down, then register at Simblesse Oblige where you can find a huge wealth of information from highly qualified players and creators who know everything there is to know about The Sims!

As warned some of the older clutter is being removed from this section. The affected items are not coming back in the future and I simply do not have time to deal with emails requesting old files so once they're gone, they're gone. I am declaring them all to be file-share-friendly however, so feel free to do with them as you please as far as sharing goes.

In addition I'm also shuffling categories around and breaking up some of the over-large sets. Over the years it's gradually dawned on me that a lot of visitors aren't finding living, bathroom and kitchen sets which are tucked away inside bars, spas, shops etc, where most sensible people simply wouldn't think to look for them. In addition to correcting this 'problem' I'm also going to add a related sets feature to each page so you can easily find other sets in similar styles. These will take a little time to deal with but will hopefully put an end to the stream of 'where can I find...' emails on this issue.

Most importantly updates are planned for this year - what they are and how many I can't say, but I promise to do better than the measly 2 updates in 2009!
