Linking to Parsimonious

The following represents the link buttons available for Parsimonious. Either save one to upload to your web server, or copy link location to link directly to the image in your page code.

Affiliating With Parsimonious

Affiliation is a special type of link exchange. These links are reserved for popular and well established sites who will send plenty of traffic back to us, as well as us sending traffic to them. These links are located on the footer bar at the bottom of every content page depending on which type of content your site has, a Sims 2 site will appear on our Sims 2 content pages, a site that has content for all versions will appear on all content pages, sites with different domains for each version will have the appropriate link in the corresponding section.

Since 2006 there is a basic standard applied to all sites requesting affiliation, if your site does not meet these requirements then it is unlikely we will agree to affiliation:

  • Any 100% FREE website must be at least 2 years old
  • Any site which has ANY pay content (donation/subscriber etc) must have been established BEFORE 2004
  • You MUST have your own registered domain name

    • We use Alexa Website Ranking to provide a general idea of your traffic level - as a general rule we will only affiliate with busy sites that will provide a reasonable number of return visitors. The level of traffic required will depend on the type of content you have, so the traffic requirement for Sims 1 is much lower than for Sims 3 for example. For Sims 2 and 3 we will only consider affiliating with sites that have upwards of 6000 unique daily visitors, for Sims 1 over 1000 is sufficient.
